Terms of Service

Scope of Services

Xable provides Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI), and related therapy services to individuals located in Ontario. Services may be offered in person at our clinical spaces, in-home, or in community settings. Website content is for general information only and is not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support.

No Emergency Services

Xable does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you or your child is in crisis or at risk of harm, contact local emergency services (911), a crisis line, or visit the nearest emergency department.

Eligibility

To receive therapy services, you or your child must be located in Ontario at the time of service and able to provide informed consent (or have a legal guardian provide consent). Xable may decline or discontinue services when clinically appropriate.

No Therapeutic Relationship Through Website Use

Using this website, sending an email, or submitting a contact form does not create a therapist-client relationship. A therapeutic relationship is established only after an intake assessment, informed consent, and a signed service agreement.

OAP Funding Disclaimer

Xable is an approved provider under the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). Funding coverage depends on your individual OAP enrollment status, Childhood Budget allocation, and eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). Xable does not guarantee funding approval and is not responsible for changes to OAP program policies.

Fees and Payment

Fees for therapy services are disclosed before treatment begins. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in writing. Insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed. Cancellation and no-show policies apply and may include fees as outlined in your service agreement.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Limits to confidentiality include risk of serious harm, child protection concerns, court orders, legal requirements, and regulatory investigations.

Virtual and Telehealth Services

Virtual sessions may involve privacy and technical risks inherent in electronic communication. By participating in telehealth, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take reasonable steps to ensure a private environment during sessions.

Website content is provided for informational purposes. Xable does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of website information. Use of the website is at your own discretion.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Xable unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

The website may use third-party tools such as scheduling systems, form processors (Formspree), analytics (Microsoft Clarity), and payment processors. Xable is not responsible for third-party content or privacy practices.

Limitation of Liability

Xable is not liable for damages arising from website use, service interruptions, errors, or decisions made based on website content. Therapy outcomes cannot be guaranteed as they depend on individual circumstances and participation.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Changes to Terms

Xable may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
